At Faith Lutheran Church we believe that belonging somewhere to someone is very important, especially when that someone is Jesus. For us as Christians, "belonging" is an extremely important theme that runs throughout our lives. It is our intent to be neighborly by sharing the love of Jesus Christ. You matter to God and to Faith. The truth is you are our neighbor and we are called to be here for you and Him!!

Jesus concisely reminds us of our purpose when he says, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself." Luke 10:25

ANNOUNCEMENTS

In Case of Emergency: The church office is closed from Thursday at 4 pm until Tuesday at 7:30 am. Plesase contact Barbara Marlin at 309-738-4228 if you have an urgent need.	Vacation Bible School July 20-24 in the evenings for ages 3-12. The Pirates Who Won’t Do Anything! Yo-Ho-Ho Pirates and Veggie Tales combine! Calling all heroes-adventure awaits! Adult and Student helpers are needed. Please sign up in the Volunteer Room or on the Family Bulletin Board downstairs.	Faith Family Camping is August 1-3. Sign up now to join in on camping fun.
Scholarship Fund...is nearly depleted! The Faith Lutheran Endowment Committee invites you to donate and they will match it! Checks may be made out to Faith Lutheran Endowment.	Adult Bible study June 8th thru July 13th Sundays at 10:10. Subject "Faithfulness".	Carpet Raffle! The Sunday School rooms are in need of new carpet. Contributions are needed and/or by a raffle ticket with proceed to go towards this. Contact Lori Turner for more info.
