At Faith Lutheran Church we believe that belonging somewhere to someone is very important, especially when that someone is Jesus. For us as Christians, "belonging" is an extremely important theme that runs throughout our lives. We invite you to join in the challenge of the Gospel to seek out our neighbors and be Christ-like to each other.

It is our intent to be neighborly by sharing the love of Jesus Christ. You matter to God and to Faith. The truth is you are our neighbor and we are called to be here for you and Him!!

Jesus concisely reminds us of our purpose when he says, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself." Luke 10:25

Discovery Class is set for Sunday
September 7th at 10:10am
An introduction to life at Faith Lutheran Church

Belonging Classes will begin Sunday
September 14th at 6:30 pm
4 week, 1 1/2 hour class for those interested in becoming a member

Lutheran's 101 Classes will begin Sunday
September 21st at 5:30 pm
6 week, one hour class, basic adult confirmation class

Discovery class is set for Sunday Sep 7th at 10:10 am and Belonging class begins Sunday Sep 14th at 6:30 pm	Lifeline Vascular Screenings will be provided at Faith on September 15th. For more info contact Barb Marlin	Free quilting classes begin September 15th from 7-9 at Faith. Contact Pat Parker or Debbie Barlow for more info.
Scholarship Fund...is nearly depleted! The Faith Lutheran Endowment Committee invites you to donate and they will match it! Checks may be made out to Faith Lutheran Endowment.	Next foot clinic is August 27th from 9 - noon. Sign up with the parish nurse.	Flamingo flocking! If you would like to share some joy by sending a flock of flamingos to someones yard contact Vicki Gehrke. This is a youth fundraiser for the national youth gathering in 2009.
Dog Earred Pages Book Club September 29th at 1 pm. Begin reading "Wednesday Letters" by Jason Wright	Encore weiner roast is September 25th at 5:30 pm in the Peterson Park shelter. Bring a dis to share and your own table service. Contact the Youngber's for more info.	Walkway Bricks are always available. Forms are in the church office if you would like to order a brick to celebrate, honor or in memory of a loved one.
